Things that are invisible are insanse

Often times, things get lost in translation when you translate one language to another and back to the original language. For example, I've heard that idioms/local sayings translate weird. The saying "out of sight out of mind" translates to "things that are invisible are insane".

I think about it. Invisible things are insane. And it makes me realize that, usually, people think that nothing is happening unless they can see it.

The most common example of this is when you see someone after a few years and you are surprised when they grew up so much.

On a grander scale, countless things are happening all over this planet without people thinking about it. I think by the year 2020, China and India are planning manned missions to the moon.

People don't realize something happened until the headline comes out that an event has been completed. When the Iphone first came out in 2008, I didn't care. But I knew it had to be in development for years.

I've come to the general conclusion, a rule so to say. I don't have a good name for it but it goes as follows.

Make can crazy, bold, baseless, insane, claim and it will eventually happen after enough time passes.

And the crazy thing about this is that it doesn't take that much effort to read the future. Since countless things are happening every day all over the planet, there is news all over the planet about developing issues and stories. However, major attention doesn't get drawn to a story until an event reaches completion.

They put this news out there, but the average person doesn't have the time or curiosity to figure out what is about to happen.

In the near future, there is still development of self driving cars. Nano-machine technology will eventually be developed. Far along enough, people will try to colonize asteroids or planets. AI will continue to develop. Robots will continue to become more advanced. Disasters will happen. Wars will break out. Etc, etc, etc.

All these things are developing. There is technology being developed today to allow people to read other people's minds. Human cloning is still being developed. A big brother like surveillance state is being developed to further enslave humanity.

Does it sound insane? Just give it 2, 3, 10, 20, 30, 50 years.
